What is Computer?

The basic components of a computer are:


Central Processing Unit (CPU), it is also called as a processor, which performs arithmetic and logical operations.

Memory (RAM) that stores data which is being used by CPU.

Storage (Hard drive, SSD etc) which stores data permanently

Input devices (keyboard, mouse etc) to give the input to the computer

Output devices (monitor, speakers etc) to receive the output from the computer

There are many different types of computers, each designed for specific tasks or environments. For example, a supercomputer is designed to perform very complex calculations, while a tablet computer is designed for portability and ease of use.
